Bio: Tim Beck, Ph.d., is a core faculty member in the integral transpersonal psychology doctoral program at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) and an associate editor for the Journal of Theoretical and Philosophical Psychology. His research has explored the application of systems theories and cybernetics to psychological research and mental health, with a particular emphasis on systems at the levels of culture and community. This includes a full-length text in the Routledge series, Concepts for Critical Psychology, titled Cybernetic Psychology and Mental Health. Recently, he has been part of a team doing participatory ethnographic research on experiences related to neurodivergence, art, and embodiment.
